|
|
Along with advent of the RedZone channel, Twitter is arguably one of the best tools for micromanaging the flow of NFL scores, highlights news and notes. Today the Sporting News released their list of the top player to follow on very NFL team. But some teams have more than one player worthy of a mention. So here are the ten best tweeters left off the list.
MORE:
10. Ben Tate, RB - Houston Texans ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Up until 2013,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Arian Foster was the most vocal tweeter on the Texan's roster, but since his retirement from social media in March, Tate has stepped up and is carring the load for the offensive players. He's not nearly as polarizing as Foster, but that's actually a good thing.
?
9. Aaron Rodgers, QB - Green Bay Packers ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Rodgers has the capabillity to be one of the best tweeters in the game, but his numbers have declined in recent months. Regardless, when he tweets, you best be following him. Who knows,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], .
?
8. Chris Harris Jr., CB - Denver Broncos ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Like any good cornerback, Harris is good at running his mouth. But on Twitter, it's mostly entertaining thoughts on humorus situations. He's a funny guy. Follow him. Trust us.
?
7. Nick Barnett, LB - Washington Redskins ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Barnett, who was signed by the Redskins in August, is a more prolific tweeter than RGIII, and arguably more entertaining. Not having to deal with the same bright spotlight RGIII works under means Barnett is more free to speak his mind, something he is very good at doing.
?
6. Russell Wilson, QB - Seattle Seahawks ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Just like his pocket pressence, WIlson is calm, cool and collected on Twitter. He's does a bit of everything on Twitter,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just like on the field. In short, he's the next big thing.
?
5. Larry Fitzgerald, WR - Arizona Cardinals ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Fitzgerald is as talented as they come, but unfortunately, is on a team crammed with excellent tweeters. Jay Feely is an evil genius and Darnell Dockett may be the the most polarizing NFL payer on Twitter. But Fitzgerald uses Twitter to promote, enlighten and reflect better than most. He's a must-follow.

4. Ray Rice, RB - Baltimore Ravens ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: The diminuitive running back has a strong Twitter game. He's active, and entertaining, and most importanly, doesn't waste his 140 characters. Plus, he posts pictures of his cane corso puppies. Who doesn't love puppy pictures?
?
3. Tom Crabtree, TE - Tampa Bay Buccaneers ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: The gap between McCoy and Crabtree was razor thin. McCoy's Twitter feed is more dynamic, but not many players are more funny than Crabtree. If you like your NFL players to make jokes, you need to follow Tom Crabtree.
?
2. Darnell Dockett, DE - Arizona Cardinals ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: Darnell Dockett's Twitter feed is not for everyone,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. He speaks his mind and does not care what you think,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. . He will hit on your girlfriend.
?
1. DeSean Jackson, WR - Philadelphia Eagles ()
Who beat him out:
The Skinny: DeSean Jackson keeps it real. Really real. Don't ask for a RT because you're not going to get one. You don't have to like the Eagles to like Jackson's feed. Each tweet is 140 characters of pure entertainment.
